He is survived by: his wife Marie Lewis Strickland of Leland; his children, Tim Strickland (Kimberly) of Wilmington, NC, Aaron Strickland of Leland, NC and Karen Thrift (David) of Winnabow, NC.; his grandchildren, Kristopher Strickland (Bethany), Stacy Andrews (Derek), Mackenzie Ryan Thrift, Veronica Strickland, Lillian Thrift, Annie Strickland and Finn Strickland; his great grandchild Rylynne Lane Strickland; and his siblings, Martha King (Andrew) of Wilmington, NC, Alice Osbourne of Fayetteville, NC, Jerry Strickland (Gaby) of Missouri and Eddie Strickland of Loris, SC..
