He is survived by: his sisters, Helen Hanna (Jimmy) of Wadesboro and Sonja Norwood Wilson (Daniel) of Monroe; his nieces and nephews, David Hanna (Allison) of Wadesboro, Lisbeth Early (Keith) of Charlotte, Charlie Norwood of Waxhaw and Allison Pueschel (Karl) of Indian Trail; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brooklyn, Jett, Noah, Raleigh Grace, Savannah Jane, George and Henry; his uncle Neal Carpenter of Marshville; and his aunts, Edna Staton (Walter) of Weddington and Doris Stutts (Ken) of Florida.
