He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard Burke and Agnes Burke of Halifax; and his brother-in-law Brig. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Gina Lammey (David) of Simsbury, CT, Gerard Burke of California, Judy Lagana (Ralph) of West Hartford, CT and Robert Burke (Christina) of Leland, NC; and his siblings, Patsy Rosebourough (Doug) of Halifax, Donald Burke of Musquodoboit Harbor, Wayne Burke of Dartmouth, Edward Burke of Halifax, James Burke of Halifax, Judy Dufour (Peter) of Lasalle and David Burke (Brenda) of Mt. Uniacke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
