She was predeceased by: her parent Herbert Long, Sr.; her husband Thomas Rossie Holmes; and her siblings, Herbert Long, Jr. and Betty Jo Long Lee. She is survived by: her parent Frankie Lee Tucker Long; her children, Dorothy H. Flynn and Mike Holmes (Ruby) of Leland; her grandchildren, Kevin Todd Flynn (Jennifer) and Kristi Holmes Duke (Shane); her great grandchild Rossilyn Duke; her stepgrandson Brandon White; her nephew Hank Lee (Michelle); and her niece Brucie Pope (Conrad).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
