As we bid Elizabeth farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Elizabeth is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Connie Robinson and Elizabeth Adams Robinson. She is survived by: her husband Peter Jack Newton Jr. of Leland, NC; her children, Tara Elizabeth Newton Jennette (Michael William) of Garner, NC and Peter Jack Newton III (Kristin Hart) of Huntersville, NC; her grandson Jackson Patrick Newton of Boston, MA; her children, Benjamin Newton Jennette of Raleigh, NC, Jeremy Christian Newton of Huntersville, NC and Mallory Elizabeth Jennette of Garner, NC.; and her brother John Connie Robinson Jr. (Adrienne Parker Robinson) of New London, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Wake Forest Baptist Church (107 E S Ave, Wake Forest, NC 27587).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the American Cancer Society in Libby's honor.
