With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dick McElroy of Leland, North Carolina, who passed away on January 15, 2024 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dick McElroy to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom McElroy and Mary McElroy; his father-in-law Lee Deitch; and his brother-in-law Bill Deitch. He is survived by: his wife Melanie; his siblings, Betsy McKinnon (Fred), Paul McElroy (Linda) and Daniel McElroy (Sue); and his mother-in-law Theodora Deitch. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
