It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Thomas Ward of Leland, North Carolina, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, K. Frances Ward and Walter Ward. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Giadone; his children, Nicholas and Caitlin; his son-in-law Taylor Spear; his grandchildren, Hudson, Piper and Sadie; and his siblings, Sher Ward, Tracy Puiia, Roy Ward, Charles Ward and Thomas Peele.
In lieu of flowers, his family asks that a donation be made in his name to the MEF.
