He was predeceased by: his parents, Mayo Housand and Janie Housand. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Housand; his children, Marsha Kelley (Jeff) and Bryan Housand; his granddaughters, Courtney, Jordan Sturtz and Brinkley Housand; his sister Jackie Gay; and his pet Sadie.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or American Diabetes Association.
