With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertha Lucille Pearson Denney of Leland, North Carolina, who passed away on April 13, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Herman Pearson and Julie Ann Coffey Pearson (Nancy); her children, Buford Pearson and Trish Coffey Chavis; her siblings, Bill Pearson, Mitchell Coffey, Shirley Pearson and Helen Coffey; her grandson James Derek Coffey; and her great grandchild James Derrick Mennick.
She is survived by: her children, Clifford Coffey of Taylorsville, Sandra Coffey of Leland and Debbie Campbell of Taylorsville; her siblings, Tom Pearson (Delana) of Blowing Rock, Robert Pearson of Lenoir, James Pearson (Annette) of Lenoir, Sue Harrison (Don) of Blowing Rock, Judy Harrison (Scott) of Blowing Rock, Carline Wood of Wrightsville Beach and Doris Hamby (Ransom) of Wilkesboro; and also Chris Whistant. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
