We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2023, at the age of 86, Anthony Stanley Checkowski of Leland, North Carolina, born in Jersey City, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Checkowski and Julia Dombrowski Checkowski; and his sister Barbara Palughi. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Rosen Checkowski of Leland; his children, David Checkowski of North Wales and Barbara Lenci (Joe) of Leland; his grandchildren, Lindsey Nolen, James Checkowski, Justin Nolen, Eric Checkowski and Michael Checkowski; and his brothers, George Checkowski and Stanley "Stash" Checkowski.
