She was predeceased by: her parents, Burgin Gillespie and Dorothy Ledbetter Gillespie; and her siblings, Cecil Gillespie, Kay Gillespie and JoAnn Hawkins.
She is survived by: her close friend Ray Edmonds; her daughters, Donna Justice, Deborah Wilson (Jeremy) and Teresa Sluder (Jonathan); her grandsons, Weston Justice (Makayla), Michael Justice and Russell Sluder (Josie Buckner); her great grandchildren, Hazel Kate and Walter Justice; and her siblings, Conley Gillespie and Carolyn Brookshire. She is also survived by her husband, the love of her life.
