She was predeceased by: her father Ronald Harold Surrett; and her grandparents, George, Dorothy Yearout, Orville and Selma Surrett.
She is survived by: her son Tanner Ryan Boyd of Leicester; her mother Susan Taylor; her stepfather Don Taylor of Leicester; her brother Jeffrey Surrett (Sheila) of Candler; her nephews, Luke Surrett of Marshall and Isaac Surrett (Tayler) of Marshall; her niece Hannah Surrett of Candler; her stepbrothers, Wendall Taylor (Anita) of Candler and Barry Taylor (Kristy) of Hendersonville; and her aunts and uncles, Lynn Roberts, Joy Nash (Ervin), Ray Yearout and Arnold Surrett.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Beulah Baptist Church (929 N Turkey Creek Rd, Leicester, NC 28748).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorials be made to Tanner Boyd's Educational Fund, 155 Surrett Cove Road, Leicester, NC 28748.
