She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry McLendon, Sr. and Nancy McClary; her former husband Robert "Bob" Wallace; and also Jerry "JJ" McLendon, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Cantrell; her children, Christina Denny, Robert "Bobby" Wallace (Kandace) and Aimee Holder; her stepdaughters, Melissa Cantrell (Deshon Harper) and Kristen Hensley (Richard "Tip"); her grandchildren, Robert Dean, Wallace, Violet Denny, Mia Ray, Zhylin Harper, Easton and Carson Hensley; and her siblings, Minah Davis (Chan) and Mara Alexander (Tim). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Groce Funeral Home - Patton Ave. (1401 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
