She was predeceased by: her father Ralph Israel; her daughter Christy Banks; and her brothers, Gary Israel and Ray Israel. She is survived by: her mother Blanche Revis Israel; her husband William "Bill" Albert Banks; her children, Debbie Sams (David), Jerry Banks (Shawna), Roger Banks and Rodney Banks; her grandchildren, Lisa Banks, Brittany (Ben), Cody (Kayla), Selina, Chance and Joshua; her great grandchildren, Tenley, Olan, Lawson and Emberlee "Pumkin"; and her siblings, Jenny Lamb, Shirley Littrell and Junior Israel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Newfound Baptist Church Cemetery (2605 New Leicester Hwy, Leicester, NC 28748).
