He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward and Gertrude Bridges Hipps; and his brothers, Herman Hipps and Charles Hipps. He is survived by: his sisters, Hilda Corn, Mary Murray, Kathleen Gooch and Inez Ownbey; his wife Carolyn Blankenship Hipps; his children, Rendell Hipps (Kelly), Nathan Hipps and Nedda Wallace (Ray); his grandsons, Austin Wallace (Sarah) and Nolan Wallace; and his great grandchild Kathryn. He is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Ray's honor be made to your local church to further extend the love and work of Christ.
