She was predeceased by: her parents, Weaver Bennett and Mattie Carico Bennett; and her husband Edward Davis. She is survived by: her children, Debra Eller (Bill), Ronnie Davis (Vickie) and Brenda Gillespie (Charles); and her grandchildren, Mitchell Eller (Stephanie), Misty Matthews (Keenan), Jason Davis (Chae), Julie Revis (Jason), Justin Gillespie (Michelle) and Brian Gillespie (Megan). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Davis will lie in state one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Flowers are appreciated, or memorials may be made to the Turkey Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 2206 Bear Creek Rd., Leicester, NC 28748.
