It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Muzette Thaxton Sexton (Leicester, North Carolina), born in Sumter, South Carolina, who passed away on April 28, 2018, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Dillard Winston Thaxton, II; her parents-in-law, Ralph Sexton, Sr. and Jacqueline Buckner Sexton; and her grandson Jackson Ralph Sexton Parrish. She is survived by: her parent Muzette Thaxton Byars; her husband Ralph Hanes Sexton, Jr.; her children, Beverly Muzette Sexton Parrish (Rev) and Mark Hanes Sexton (Sheri Hollifield Sexton); her brother Winston Thaxton, III; her wife Joy Thaxton; and her sisters, Nancy Galloway (Rev), Wanda Davis (Mike Davis) and Kathy Tyrrell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their spouses and children.
Flowers are welcome, as well as donations to the Trinity Baptist Church Building Fund, in memory of Mrs. Sexton.
