She was predeceased by: her parent Clyde Sluder; her husband Van Culbertson; her son-in-law John Chapman; and her sister-in-law Wilma Sluder. She is survived by: her parent Fannie Mae Foster Sluder; her children, Judy Chapman, Sharon Wilsdon (Tom), Van "Tom" Culbertson, Jr. (Rena) and Ronnie Culbertson (Mary); and her brothers, Bill Sluder, Rex Sluder (Georgia) and Riley Sluder (Iris). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Western Chapel United Methodist Church.
