He was predeceased by: his former wife Carolyn Honeycutt Cole; and his brothers, Harlon Cole and Randy Cole. He is survived by: his wife Mafre M. Cole; his children, Philip Cole (Susan) of Leicester and Delaina Davis (Chris) of Candler; his stepdaughter Myra Hamby (Darren) of Marion; his sisters, Ava Norton of Mars Hill and Edna Messer (Thad) of Canton; his grandchildren, Brandy, Blake, Hope, Lydia and Selah; and his great grandchildren, Knox, June, Branson and Ezra.
