Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lucille Casada (Leicester, North Carolina), who passed away at the age of 81, on January 1, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Meadows and Margaret Edwards Meadows; her husband Lyle William Casada; and her sister Dorothy Thomas. She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Fender and Darlene Stratton (David); her close friend Gaylyn Justice; her sister Glenda Marlor; her son Steven; her niece Toni Schrader (Steve); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Tyler and Kade; her grandchildren, Shannon Ward (Derrick) and Tim Fender (Shelly); her great grandchildren, Christian and Sammy Jo; and her great great grandchildren, Aniyah, Jordan and Jenny. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Cemetery (42 Gudger Chapel Rd, Leicester, NC 28748).
In lieu of flowers, her family asks that memorials be made to Highland Baptist Church, 11 Horseback Lane, Marshall, NC 28753.
