She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Fisher and Jerry Clay Payne; her husband John W. Roberts; her children, Elizabeth, Katherine and Michael Roberts; and her brother Jimmy Payne.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Dean of Leicester, NC and Karen Hunnicutt (Tim) of Leicester, NC; and her sister Nancy Buckner (Paul) of Weaverville, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
