It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hal Ray Glenn of Leicester, North Carolina, born in Robbins, North Carolina, who passed away on December 25, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Robbin Robinson Glenn; his parents, Otis Glenn and Cassie Glenn; his brother Otis Glenn, Jr.; his former wife Ruth Ellen Moore; his sisters, Ellen Cheek (Larry) of Harlem, GA, Ann Pruitt of Greensboro, NC and Kate Shields of Robbins, NC.; his children, Alfred Gattis (Wanda) of Cameron, NC, Celia Scott (Tim) of Bear Creek, NC, James Ray Glenn (Gail) of Sheridan, IN and Nancy Tate (Chad) of Raleigh, NC.; and his friend Tim Clapp.

In lieu of flowers to make donations to the Hospice House at the Charles George Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, part of the VA Mid-Atlantic Health Care Network. Donations will be in honor of Sergeant Hal Ray Glenn.
