She is survived by: her children, Rick Sharpe (Karen) of Mars Hill, Sharon Motley (Clyde) of Candler, Vickie Lingle (Dale) of Lenoir and Brenda Bassett of Gate City, VA; her stepchildren, Kenny Nielsen (Lorraine) of Malabar, FL, Karen Naberhaus (Terry) of Merritt Island, FL, Kay McGinnis (Jim) of Melbourne, FL and Keith Nielsen (Jenai) of Melbourne, FL; and her sisters, Betty Keppner and Viola Burris. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews.
