She was predeceased by: her husband David E. Broome; her parents, Jerry G. Roberts and Helen Lunsford Roberts; and her brothers, J. Roberts and David T. Roberts.

She is survived by: her son Michael D. Broome (Candy); her grandchildren, Jarret M. Broome of Leicester and Cassada B. Broome of Leicester; her sister Sharon R. Broome (Donald) of Rogersville, TN; and her sister-in-law Gloria T. Roberts of Asheville. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the building fund of Leicester Baptist Church, 18 Tony Lunsford Dr., Leicester, NC 28748.
