He is survived by: his parent Pearl Waldroup Buckner; his wife Ruby Scott Buckner; his children, Diana Dysert, Sheila B. Makey, Rhonda Ayres, Jack L. Buckner and Michael E. Buckner; and his brother Benny Buckner.
