He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Decatur and Della Willie Carland Banks; his wife Katherine Hawkins Banks; and his siblings, Elizabeth Pressley (Lois Smith) and Decatur Banks.
He is survived by: his sons, Ray Banks (Vikki Maney Banks) and Roger Banks (Missy Parris); his brothers, Gerald Banks and W. L. Banks; his grandchildren, Aaron Banks (Christie), Kimberly Shambaugh (Kurt) and Lauren Parris; and his great grandchildren, Paul, Clint and Lilly.
