It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Bowers Sr. (Leicester, North Carolina), born in Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 19, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Emma Lucille Bowers; his son Carl Ray Bowers, Jr.; and his grandsons, Joe and Matthew Bowers. He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Buckner and Sue Surrett (Bobby); and his sisters, Maude Parr, Emma Watton and Ruth Anderson. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
