He was predeceased by: his mother Allie Hudgins; and his siblings, Arbry Hudgins, Kermit Hudgins and Brieta Hensley. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Surrett Hudgins; his children, J. C. Hudgins (Stephanie), Matthew Hudgins (Wendy) and Rhonda Justice (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Haley Justice, Natalie Justice, Caleb Justice, Aaron Hudgins, Blake Roberson and Jeff Capps (Elana); and his siblings, Doris Surrett (Hobart), Grace Worley, Avelene Warren, Kenneth Hudgins (Nancy) and Bruce Hudgins. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chestnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
