We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2025, at the age of 84, McCoy Rogers (Leasburg, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, L. B. Rogers and Jannie Carver Rogers; his son Andre'Rogers; his brother Roy Rogers, Sr.; and his stepfather Cleveland Salmond.
He is survived by: his wife Brinda Rogers; his children, Linda Frazier of Yonkers, Deborah Little of Plainfield and LaMarsha Turi of Hightstown; his grandchildren, Jamal Little of Plainfield, Andrea King of Chester, Mark Daniels, Jr. of Plainfield, Jysean Montero of Hightstown, Brian Davis of Hightstown and Taraji Bailey of Hightstown; his sister Mable Hawkins of Jersey City; and his sister-in-law Qunellus Rogers of Leasburg. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
The lying in state will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. James Missionary Baptist Church (1065 Solomon Lea Rd, Leasburg, NC 27291). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
