He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Elwood Hamlett and Margaret E. Butler Hamlett; his wife Teresa Hancock Hamlett; and his sister Faye Marie Hamlett. He is survived by: his daughters, Ann Marie Hamlett of Reidsville, NC and Tammy Duncan (Randy) of Providence, NC; his grandchildren, Heather, Amanda Cheshire, Adam, Lane and Casey Duncan; his siblings, Margaret Ann Williams (Gene) of Leasburg, NC, Claude Hamlett of Leasburg, NC and Lynn Hamlett of Mebane, NC; and his close friend Shelia Williams.
