She was predeceased by: her husband Herman Merritte Lee; her parents, Isaac Coleman and Mariah Coleman; her grandson Kevin Lee; and her siblings, Emma Coleman, Annie Ruth Coleman, Lucy Lea and James Isaac Coleman.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Lee (Lynn Nichols) of Philadelphia, PA and Jannie Lee Tatum (Robert) of Philadelphia, PA; her grandchildren, Shanette Lee of Philadelphia, Charlotte Tatum of Philadelphia, Devin Wilkins of Philadelphia, Shayla Amenra (Hasan) of Philadelphia and Imani Harvin Lee of Philadelphia; her great grandchildren, Baby of Philadelphia, Shanea Lee of Philadelphia, Zahina Amenra of Philadelphia and Nasir Amenra of Philadelphia; and her siblings, Ocie Coleman of Burlington, NC, Mabel Poteat of Washington, DC, Louise Boyeman of Burlington, NC, Fannie McAdoo (Maurice) of Burlington, NC, Diane Poteat of Burlington, NC, Henry Brim Poteat (Dolly) of Washington, DC, Willie Gene Poteat (Nellie) of Bladensburg, MD and John Major Poteat (Janice) of Burlington, NC. She is also survived by other nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
