She was predeceased by: her husband Fred M. Hooker; her son Tommy Hooker; her brother Donnie Bullins; and her brothers-in-law, James Forister Hooker and Bobby Bullins.

She is survived by: her sons, Wade Hooker, Kelly Hooker of Critz, Ronnie Hooker and Darlene Hooker of Lawsonville; her grandchildren, Jeremy Hooker, Melissa Hooker, Tyler Hooker, Taylor Scearce, Benjamin Hooker and Nicholas Hooker; and her siblings, Annie Bullins of Mayodan, Shirley Pyrtle of Lawsonville, Wayne Pyrtle of Lawsonville, Inez Hooker of Lawsonville and Davis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
