She is survived by: her husband James Garfield Medley; her children, Cindy Lawson (Dale), Thomas Lawson (Tina), Sheila Smith (Ronnie), Ethel Lawson Pyrtle, Mike Medley (Una), Jeff Medley (Susan) and Jean Baker (Gary); and her daughters-in-law, Tabbath Lawson, Kimberly Lawson and Carolyn Lawson. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, twenty eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
