He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Dee Watkins and Erma Corns Watkins of Virginia; and his stepson Jeff Brinkley. He is survived by: his wife Louise Watson Watkins; his daughters, Lori Watkins Jensen (Thor Jensen) and Tracy Watkins (Clay Park); his grandsons, Sam Jensen and Erick Jensen; his brother Bruce Watkins; his stepgrandchildren, Jeanna Brinkley and Jerry Brinkley; and his close friend Wayne.
