She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewitt "Deddie" Carroll Bullins and Perlie Hester Lawson Bullins; her husband James Forister Hooker; her sister Lillian Bullins Hooker; her brother-in-law Fred Hooker; her brother Donnie Bullins; her sister-in-law Carlene Bullins; and her siblings, Shirley Pyrtle (Wayne) of Lawsonville, Annie Bullins of Mayodan and Davis Bullins (Sharon) of Danbury.
She is survived by: her sons, Tim Hooker (Cindy) of Lawsonville and Chris Hooker (Amy) of Lawsonville; her grandchildren, Brandon Hooker (Holly) of Lawsonville, Courtney Vernon (Justin) of Manhattan, Logan Hooker of Lawsonville and Bentley Hooker of Lawsonville; and her great grandchildren, Dayton Vernon and Case Vernon.
