She was predeceased by: her parents, Ford Jerome McSwain and Betty Huss McSwain; and her husband Daniel Monroe Dixon. She is survived by: her children, Stacey Glover (Shane) of Shelby and Michael Black (Laurie) of Concord; her sisters, Alice Mauney (Berry) of Crouse and Shannon Holt (William) of Maiden; her sister-in-law Nancy Peeler (Barney) of Lawndale; her grandchildren, Autumn Hight (Justin), Brandon Glover, Trent Black, Tripp Black, Bella Black and Mallory Black; her great grandchildren, Brentlie Hight and Ryker Hight; and her niece Neeley Cranford.
