He was predeceased by: his father Warren Franklin Spurling; and his son Gregory Thomas Spurling. He is survived by: his mother Marjorie Jane Mitchem Spurling; his wife Marsha Gutyar Spurling; his children, Scott Spurling (Dawn), Leslie Webb (Derek) and Myra Spurling Juban (Matt); his grandchildren, Lee Spurling (Kasey), Dustin Spurling, Nori Webb, Alayna Webb, Bethany Webb, Joseph Webb, Jacob Webb, Eli Webb, Cheyenne Spurling, Luke Spurling, Savanna Gantt, Daniel Juban and Liam Juban; and his great grandchildren, Hallie, Banner, Logan Spurling, Mila Love, Kinsley Spurling and Warren Gantt.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Peters Methodist Church (108 St Peters Church Rd, Lawndale, NC 28090).
