He was predeceased by: his mother Lucille Carman Dowell. He is survived by: his father Ronald Eugene Dowell; his wife Cheryl Morris Dowell; his children, Kristy Nissen (Jamie) and Brad Dowell; and his siblings, Cindy Criswell (Gary), Pat McKinney (Alan), James R. Dowell (Cindy) and Missy Dodge (Steve). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
