She was predeceased by: her parents, A. W. Dover and Mary Frances Farris; her husband Dean Owens; her stepdaughter Jessica Owens; her brother Wayne Dover; and her brothers-in-law, Ralph Philbeck and Donald Peak.
She is survived by: her children, Joshua, Pam Adams (Heather McCurry), Ashley Adams and Amber Perdue (J. D.); her stepchildren, Erick Owens (Beck), Danny Owens (Samantha), Randy Owens and Amanda Owens; and her siblings, Tommy Dover (Starr Kyle), Teresa Farris (Joey), Darlene Philbeck, Edna Peak, Wanda VanDyke and Mary Ann Reyes (Jose). She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church (1326 Cedar Ave, Gastonia, NC 28054). Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
