He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Franklin Sain and Iva Turner Sain; and his siblings, Charles A. Sain and Doris Turner Berryhill. He is survived by: his wife Larea Bumgardner Sain; and his siblings, Michael Sain (Elaine) of Polkville, Diane Sain Heavner of Casar and Kay Hager (William) of Charlotte. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
