She was predeceased by: her siblings, Zora Powell, Otis Price, Dan Dillingham, David Dillingham and Josephus Johnson; and her granddaughter Latoya Nicole Tate.
She is survived by: her husband Norvel Lenox (Ted); her daughters, Denise Grier (Michael) of Hickory, NC, Pamela Renea Toms of Portsmouth, VA and Monica Roseboro (Rodney) of Lincolnton, NC; her sister Martha Coats of Lawndale, NC; and her grandchildren, Alecia Toms, Jenika Dawson (Josh), Teaerra Grier, Jasmine Grier and Paradise Wells. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
