She was predeceased by: her parents, Buren Trent Ellis and Etta Lee Dawson Ellis; her husband Jerry Leon Smith, Sr.; and her sisters, Mary Dellinger, Austine Chandler and Betty Migett.
She is survived by: her children, Leon Smith (Ginger) of Lawndale, Scott Smith (Teresa) of Grover and Cindy Aguero (Al) of Lawndale. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
