She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Pearson and Dorcas Melton Howard; and her husband Sherrill Queen. She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Ivester (Jim) of Lawndale; her grandchildren, Mike Ivester (Ruthie) of Charleston, SC and Sherry Akers (Sam) of Evans, GA; and her great grandchildren, Rivers, Carter, Sanders Ivester and Olivia Akers.
