It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Glenn Short of Lawndale, North Carolina, who passed away on March 9, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeno Guy Short and Lula Estelle Lingerfelt Short; and his siblings, Harvey Ray Short, Ralph Short, Bill Short, Clyde Short, Dorothy Sigmon and Shirley Swink.
He is survived by: his wife Vernie Sue Sain Short; his children, Gary Short (Nichole) of Fallston, Dale Short of Lawndale and Theresa Greene of Dallas; his grandchildren, Hunter Short, Taylor Short, Ashley Craft, Heather Chavez (Chris), Josh Craig (Diana), Matthew Short, Cody Short (Paige) and Hannah Page (Orion); his great grandchildren, Caitlyn Craig, Isla Chavez, Pierce Chavez, Hope Chavez and Emerson Craft; and his sister Mary Helen Hudson of Morganton.
