He was predeceased by: his father Robert Earl Maybin; and his son Matthew Maybin. He is survived by: his mother Gina Carithers; his wife Danielle; his sons, Robert Earl Maybin, III, Christopher Maybin and Brandon Maybin; and his sisters, Christy Beheler, Nicole Hoffman and Sandy Maggard.
