It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ray Cook of Lawndale, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on February 6, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleatus Cook and Wilma Cook of Lawndale; his sisters, Maxine Taylor and Ruth Chapman; and his nephews, David and Jody Cook.
He is survived by: his brothers-in-law, Parksie Chapman, Carroll Taylor and L. Ledford; his wife Linda Bradshaw Cook; his sisters, Lucille Canipe (Ray) and Faye Ledford; and his sister-in-law Norma Brittain (Steve). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
