He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Walker Pruitt; his sons, Ronnie Pruitt (Tamila) of Casar, Tommy Pruitt (Karen) of Casar and Jason Pruitt (Miranda) of George Hildebran; and his siblings, Jimmy Hoyle of Hickory and Mary Gantt of Lawndale. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
