He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Edna Shade Schenck; and his stepson Ricky Dean Shade. He is survived by: his brother Lionel Schenck of Shelby; his stepdaughters, Trena Fuller, Mary Linder and Angela Dawkins; and his sister Omega Spikes. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
