Pearlie Barrett Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Pearlie Barrett (Lawndale, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 17, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Proctor and Essie Heavner Proctor; her husband Joe Thomas Barrett; and her siblings, Calvin Proctor, George Proctor, Eloise Stallings and Frances Gantt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sarita Caserta (Charlie) of Cary, Bonnie Beam (Phil) of Lawndale and Sherry Pruett (Todd) of Lawndale; her siblings, Vance Proctor of Lawndale, Floyd Proctor of Lattimore and Betty Downs of Shelby; her grandchildren, Beth Hancock of Holly Springs, Jennifer Caserta (Jonathan Moody) of Holly Springs, Krista Caserta of Cary, Jackson Beam of Belwood, Jordan Beam of Miami Beach and Zachary Pruett (Jenna) of Casar; and her great grandchildren, Gracie Hancock, Kensley Hancock, Jadon Beam, Miriam Thurman, Corinna Beam, Vance Pruett and Weston Moody.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Carpenter's Grove Baptist Church (1117 Carpenters Grove Church Rd, Lawndale, NC 28090). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
