She was predeceased by: her parents, Burgan Grigg and Minnie Norman Grigg; her husband John M. Sparks Jr.; her sister Pauline Lattimore; and her granddaughter Sara Katherine Sparks.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Sparks (Kathe) of Lawndale and Myra Ann Lindsay (Tony) of Hickory; her siblings, Helen Carroll of Lawndale and Burgan Grigg (Pat) of Virginia; and her granddaughter Elizabeth Ann Sparks of Lawndale.
